North East Lincolnshire Council is asking people to have their say on the public rights of way plan (ROWIP) in the borough.
All highway authorities are required to have a ROWIP, which should be reviewed every 10 years.
In 2018, the council asked for the views of the public and organisations on what its priorities should be for rights of way – with more than 400 responses. The council has taken these views into account and produced a draft plan.
The plan sets out the council’s priorities and actions to improve North East Lincolnshire’s public rights of way over the next 10 years.
These actions will help in providing a well-maintained public rights of way network.
People now have the opportunity to have their say on North East Lincolnshire Council’s drafted rights of way improvement plan, which has been created following the consultation in 2018.

Paper copies are available at the Customer Access Point in the Municipal Offices in Grimsby and Lincs Inspire Libraries.
The deadline to complete the survey is Monday 1 June 2020.
Responses to this consultation will help to produce the final version of the rights of way improvement plan, which is planned to be complete in late 2020.
